How to Connect Your Fantasy League and Generate Your First Broadcast

The FantasyCast Team·

Getting started with FantasyCast takes less than five minutes. Here's exactly how it works.

Step 1: Create your account

Head to getfantasycast.com and sign up. Once you're in, you'll land on your dashboard.

Step 2: Connect your league

Click Connect a League from the dashboard.

If you're on Sleeper

Choose Sleeper, enter your Sleeper username, and select the league you want to connect. That's it — no credentials needed. Sleeper's API is free and fully open.

If you're on ESPN

Choose ESPN, enter your League ID (found in your ESPN league URL: fantasy.espn.com/football/league?leagueId=XXXXXX), then paste your espn_s2 and SWID session cookies.

How to find your ESPN cookies:

  1. Go to fantasy.espn.com and make sure you're logged in
  2. Open DevTools: F12 on Windows, Cmd+Opt+I on Mac
  3. Click the Application tab (expand » if you don't see it)
  4. In the left sidebar: Storage → Cookies → https://www.espn.com
  5. Copy espn_s2 — it's a very long string
  6. Copy SWID — it looks like {XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}, braces included

Once you've pasted them in, click Test Connection to verify, then Continue.

Step 3: Generate your first broadcast

After connecting your league, click Generate First Broadcast. FantasyCast will:

  1. Pull your league's matchup results, standings, and transactions from Sleeper or ESPN
  2. Build a context snapshot of the week — scores, storylines, waiver wire moves
  3. Feed it to a frontier AI language model to write a multi-host script
  4. Synthesize the audio with studio-grade AI voice models

This typically takes 60–90 seconds. You'll see the status update automatically.

Step 4: Listen and share

Once your broadcast is ready:

  • Listen in the dashboard with the built-in audio player
  • Read the script to see exactly what was said
  • Copy the share link and drop it in your group chat — the share page is public and works for anyone

Season Replay

Already mid-season, or want broadcasts for a past season? Use the Replay tab on your league page. It imports historical week data for free, then lets you generate broadcasts for any past week (1 credit each).

Credits

One credit = one broadcast. Buy credits from the Credits page:

  • $15 — 1 broadcast
  • $120 — 10 broadcasts (half-season)
  • $200 — 20 broadcasts (full season)

New accounts that joined the waitlist get 2 free credits automatically on sign-up.
