2. Age Requirement

FantasyCast is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and any associated data. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us.

3. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account
• Waitlist information: Email address when you join our waitlist
• League connections: Sleeper username, ESPN League ID, and ESPN session credentials (espn_s2 and SWID cookies) used to access your private league data
• Broadcast data: Generated scripts, audio files, and associated league metadata produced through the Service
• Payment information: Billing details submitted at checkout — note that we do not store your full payment card information; this is handled directly by our payment processor (see Section 6)
• Communications: Any messages you send to us via email or contact forms

b) Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and navigation patterns
• Device and browser information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device type
• IP address and approximate location: Used for security, fraud prevention, and analytics
• Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 7 for details

c) ESPN Key Retriever Browser Extension

If you use the ESPN Key Retriever for FantasyCast browser extension, it reads your espn_s2 and SWID session cookies directly from your browser's local cookie store for the espn.com domain. This happens entirely within your browser:

• The extension does not transmit your credentials to FantasyCast's servers on its own.
• When you click “Connect to FantasyCast” within the extension, your credentials are passed as URL parameters to this website over HTTPS so the connection form is pre-filled. You remain in control of whether to submit them.
• The extension does not store credentials, track your browsing history, or collect any other information.
• The extension executes no remotely hosted code and makes no independent network requests.

d) Information from Third Parties

• Sleeper API: We access your Sleeper league data (matchups, rosters, standings, transactions) via Sleeper's free, read-only public API using your username. No Sleeper credentials are required or stored.
• ESPN API: We access your ESPN fantasy league data using the espn_s2 and SWID session credentials you provide. These credentials are stored encrypted at rest and are only used to fetch your league data — we do not store ESPN cookies long-term beyond what is needed to refresh your league.
• Authentication provider: We use a third-party authentication service to manage sign-in and account security. That service may share account-related data with us per their privacy policy.
• Payment processor: Our payment provider processes all transactions and shares confirmation and billing status with us.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate weekly fantasy football broadcast scripts and audio from your league data
• Process league data from Sleeper and ESPN to build broadcast context
• Process payments and manage your credit balance
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, broadcast ready notifications, receipts)
• Send waitlist and product update communications (you may opt out at any time)
• Improve the Service through usage analytics
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. How Your Content Is Processed

When FantasyCast generates a broadcast for your league, your league data is processed by third-party AI services to produce your script and audio output:

• League data fetch: Your Sleeper league data is retrieved via the Sleeper API (free, read-only). Your ESPN league data is retrieved using your session credentials via the ESPN API.
• Script generation: A context snapshot of your league (matchups, standings, transactions, storylines) is transmitted to a third-party AI language model service to generate a broadcast script.
• Audio generation: Your generated script is transmitted to a third-party AI voice synthesis service to produce the audio broadcast.

By using FantasyCast, you acknowledge and consent to your league data being processed by these third-party AI services for the purpose of generating your broadcast.

We do not share your content with any other third parties for AI processing, advertising, or any other purpose.

6. Third-Party Service Categories

To operate FantasyCast, we work with third-party providers in the following categories. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data transmitted to them.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Keep you logged in to your account
• Remember your preferences
• Analyze how the Service is used (via analytics tools)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of the Service.

8. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.
• ESPN credentials: Stored encrypted at rest and used only to fetch your league data. You may remove them at any time from your league settings.
• Generated broadcasts (script + audio): Retained as long as your account is active or until you delete them.
• Waitlist data: Retained until you request removal or we close the waitlist program.
• Payment records: Retained as required by law and our payment processor's data retention requirements (typically 7 years for financial records).

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information in your account
• Delete your account and associated data
• Download your generated broadcast files at any time
• Remove your ESPN credentials from our systems at any time
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
• Request deletion of specific broadcasts or generated content

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• ESPN session credentials stored encrypted at rest
• Secure cloud storage with an industry-standard database and storage provider
• Authentication managed by a dedicated identity provider using industry-standard security practices
• Payment processing handled entirely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

11. Children's Privacy

FantasyCast is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use this Service.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email if changes are material. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
